Horbal joins Family Dental Group in Shelton SHELTON >> Bethany Horbal, DMD, has joined Huntington Family Dental Group, 534 Shelton Ave., according to a release. Horbal, originally from Berlin, Connecticut, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and environmental studies from Fairfield University, earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine and completed a General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian Weill-Cornell Hospital in Manhattan. Torrington arrests for July 17, 2017

The Torrington Police Department reported the following arrests: POSSESSION: Bethany R. Wujcik, 21, of 107 Wedgewood Drive, Torrington, was arrested July 10 and charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of paraphernalia. State police have identified the man killed in a two-vehicle crash on Route 42 in Bethany Friday afternoon. John A. Kwocha, 43, of Hill St. in Shelton, was pronounced dead at the scene. State Police have identified the 2 involved in the Route 42 crash

BETHANY, Conn. (WTNH) — State Police have identified the two people involved in the Route 42 crash in Bethany Friday night. Authorities say, a car was traveling westbound on Route 42 in Bethany, while a truck was traveling eastbound. Police say both vehicles collided and caused heavy damage to the driver’s side of both vehicles. State Police say 43-year-old, John A. Kwochka of Shelton was pronounced dead at the scene. 1 dead, 1 injured in Bethany crash

BETHANY, Conn. (WTNH) — One person has died, and another injured after a crash on Route 42 in Bethany late Friday afternoon. Around 4:55 p.m., Connecticut State Police responded to Route 42 between routes 63 and 69 on reports of a crash. State Police Public Information Officer Trooper Kelly Grant spoke with News 8, and said one driver died in the crash, while another was taken to a local hospital for non life-threatening injuries. One person has died following a 2-car crash on Route 42 in Bethany Friday. According to Connecticut State Police, around 4:55 p.m. on Route 42/Cheshire Road, two motor vehicles collided resulting in one fatality.
