Wilton Quakers celebrate 75 years

At times, people feel overcome with the sense to stand up and share that message or revelation with everyone else in that worship meeting. Michel Loth, of Stamford, was one of the members who attended the 75th anniversary party, which consisted of worship, yoga dance, food and music, and a history lesson from Renda McCaughan. Woman allegedly embezzles $100K from North Canaan rehab center

NORTH CANAAN >> A woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly embezzling at least $100,000 from a local rehabilitation center. New Canaan man asleep in car arrested for allegedly having heroin

NEW CANAAN, Conn. (WTNH)- New Canaan police arrested a man they say was found sleeping in his car, with heroin in it. Police say they were called to Frogtown Road around 12:10 a.m. on July 1 for reports of a man sleeping in a running car in a driveway there. Police searched the car and say they found heroin. 26-year-old Agron Sabovic of New Canaan was arrested for possession of narcotics. Teen suffers life-threatening injuries in Salisbury accident

SALISBURY, Conn. (WTNH) – Connecticut State Police are investigating an accident that happened on Lime Rock Road in Salisbury on Sunday night. According to state troopers, 17-year-old Samuel Williams, of Canaan, was traveling westbound when his car crossed over into the eastbound lane. Williams hit a street sign and large tree off the left shoulder. He was taken to Sharon Hospital by ambulance then was later taken to Hartford Hospital by Life Star for life threatening injuries. Fairfield Prep senior Chris Brown, recently named a U.S. Lacrosse All-American, admitted it took a while to learn a new coaching system last season.
