MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (AP) — Police say a Connecticut man who left his dog to die in a hot car three years ago has been arrested after another dog died the same way. Seventy-nine-year-old David Beveridge told police in Middletown that he meant to take the Labradoodle named Jennie to a pet care center around noon Tuesday before going to work. STRATFORD — Trumbull rallied for six runs in the top of the fifth to beat Stratford 7-4 Wednesday night in the decisive game of their American Legion regional series at Penders Field. Attempted shrimp theft leads to arrest

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH)  –  A Middletown woman has been arrested after she attempted to steal several items, including shrimp, from Price Chopper. Middletown Police have charged 38-year-old Marcy Pelletier with larceny 6th shoplifting.
