Niantic woman charged with larceny, burglary in Westport

WESTPORT — A Niantic woman was charged with burglary and larceny of a Westport resident following a lengthy police investigation. Natasha Pennywell, 34, was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree conspiracy to commit burglary, issuing a bad check, third-degree larceny and third-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, police said. Hundreds without power in Weston, Wilton

The day after strong thunderstorms moved through Connecticut, the town of Weston has the most power outages in the state. Eversource reports Friday monning that 696 customers are without electricity. The outages in this heavily wooded town are from downed trees and branches onto utility wires. Wilton, which borders Weston, has 100 outages. Easton has ll outages.
