Hundreds without power in Weston, Wilton

The day after strong thunderstorms moved through Connecticut, the town of Weston has the most power outages in the state. Eversource reports Friday monning that 696 customers are without electricity. The outages in this heavily wooded town are from downed trees and branches onto utility wires. Wilton, which borders Weston, has 100 outages. Easton has ll outages. Weston’s Koch grew tougher mentally

Pretrial held Monday in case against Easton man accused of killing parents

EASTON, Conn. (WTNH) — The case against an Easton man accused of killing his parents is moving forward. There has been no word on whether Kyle Navin attended the private pretrial hearing on Monday. He and his girlfriend are accused of killing Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin. Their bodies were found in Weston back in 2015. Case continued of Easton man accused of killing his parents

Navin is charged with two counts of murder and one count of murder under special circumstances which carries the maximum term of life in prison without release. Pretrial discussions set for Easton man accused of killing parents
