CONCORD, N.H. >> A Massachusetts man has pleaded in federal court in New Hampshire to robbing banks in three states. Court documents say 26-year-old Vincent Torraco, of Athol, Massachusetts, robbed three TD bank branches, one in Gardner, Massachusetts, another in Rindge, New Hampshire, and the third in Winchester, Connecticut, in September. Winsted man accused of trespassing in fire-damaged Torrington home

TORRINGTON >> A Winsted man is facing charges after being found trespassing in a fire-damaged Torrington home with prescription drugs in his possession, police said. Scott H. Centrella, 28, of 176 Torringford Road, Winchester, was arrested July 15 and charged with first-degree criminal trespassing and sixth-degree larceny. Winchester association receives preservation grant for Little Red School House

A $15,000 grant from the 1772 Foundation in cooperation with the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation was recently awarded to The Little Red School House Association of Winchester, Inc. Association president David N. Battista reported that the grant will enable the association to hire preservation specialists to work on restoring the structural condition of the building in order to preserve the schoolhouse with the goal of opening the schoolhouse to visitors and local school children to experience education as it was in the later part of the 19th century. Police: Danielson pilot died in New Hampshire plane crash

WINCHESTER, N.H. – A Danielson man died after the small plane he was flying crashed in New Hampshire Thursday morning, Winchester Police Department told The Bulletin on Friday. Police said John E. The Winchester Police Department reported the following arrests: DUI: Gregory J. Reynolds, 27, of 120 Birge Park Road, Harwinton, was arrested June 9 and charged with driving under the influence and evading responsibility.
